running older versions of office on vista?

Essentially, I don't like office 2007 and a friend of mine doesn't either. She has a computer with vista on it, and I was wondering if anyone knew if prior versions of ms office, specifically office xp professional, would run on it? Any help would be apreciated!

sorry man, the answer is no. i have a friend who'd like to do the same thing but he hasn't had any luckyet
